About Nine Muses

Nine Muses Review is an independent, free-access online literary magazine based in New York City. Founded in 2023, Nine Muses aims to build a creative space that triumphs passion, inspiration, and inclusivity. Nine Muses publishes quarterly issues that include prose, poetry, creative non-fiction, and art. We will always be free of charge to both read and submit. We also host annual prose and poetry contests with no entry fees or barriers. We hope to help you find your "muse," and to celebrate your beautiful, creative and inspired works.

Katie Baughman is from Kansas City, Missouri. She is an incoming student at Harvard Law School and a graduate of Fordham University- Rose Hill in New York City, where she studied English and Russian. Recent work in The Offing.

Lily Baughman, Senior Editor

Lily Baughman is a writer and recent graduate of Fordham University- Lincoln Center. She is from Kansas City, Missouri. She is beginning her aerial silks journey and excited to begin law school at Harvard University this fall. Find Lily on Instagram @lilyebaughman.

Abhinav Aitha, Editor

Abhinav Aitha is a student at Fordham University studying Accounting and Finance. Originally from Connecticut, he has often been told he has the spirit of an English major. In his free time, Abhinav enjoys writing awkward "Wattpadian" meet cutes in the margin of his math notes and playing Word Hunt.

Jasmine Chen, Editor

Jasmine Chen is a writer from Long Island, New York. She is currently attending Georgetown University and has previously been published in DIALOGIST.
